Corrections are the most useful thing that arrives here, and they are genuinely welcome. This is one person and a set of modules, not a support desk, so a reply takes as long as it takes — but everything gets read.
What is worth writing about
- A note in the wrong place. The board is computed rather than drawn, so a mistake is a mistake in the arithmetic and it is worth knowing about. Say which instrument, which key and which scale, and it can be reproduced exactly.
- The Portuguese terminology. Casa or traste, forma de C or shape de C, tônica or nota fundamental — the choices are recorded in the project notes and made by someone who wanted to get them right, not by someone who grew up saying them. A Brazilian guitarist disagreeing is exactly the input this needs.
- The cavaquinho. Its record has the least English-language material behind it, and the fret counts here follow a catalogue rather than an instrument somebody owns.
- Something broken. Particularly on a phone, and particularly if the neck will not scroll or a control does nothing.
