This page describes what actually happens, not what a template says usually happens. It is short because the site does very little.
What is collected
Nothing, unless you write to me. There are no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no cookies. Reading pages, changing the dropdowns, tapping notes: none of it is sent anywhere. The one place you can hand this site something is the contact form, and the section below says exactly what happens to it.
No analytics. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no beacon and no third-party request of any kind. Nobody is counting your visit. If that ever changes, it will be a cookieless, non-identifying page-view count, this page will say so before it goes live, and there will still be no consent banner because there will still be nothing to consent to.
What is stored in your browser
Two preferences, using your browser’s local storage, so the tool looks the way you left it:

These never leave your device. They are not cookies, they are not sent with any request, and nothing on this site or anywhere else can read them but this site’s own page in your own browser. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them, and the tool simply goes back to its defaults.
The contact form
It is not switched on yet. When it is, this section is already true of it — it describes what the code does, and the code is written before the form is opened rather than after.
What you type is emailed, and nothing else. Your name, your address and your message go straight to the person who runs this site as one email. There is no database here, no ticket system and no third party in between: what you write lands in an inbox, gets read, and gets answered from that address. It is never published, never shared and never added to a list, because there is no list.
Your address is used to reply and for nothing else.
The bot check is Cloudflare Turnstile, and it is the only third-party script
anywhere on this site — on that one page, and on no other. It loads from
challenges.cloudflare.com and gives Cloudflare technical signals from your
browser so it can tell a person from a script. It is not an advertising
product, it does not follow you to other sites, and this site does not use its
pre-clearance mode, which is the one that would set a cookie.
So the form cannot be used to send thousands of messages, the number of submissions from one address is counted for ten minutes. What is stored for those ten minutes is a salted hash — a fingerprint your address cannot be recovered from, not the address — and a small number. Both are deleted automatically when the ten minutes are up.
What the host sees
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical information needed to deliver a page to you — your IP address, the page requested, your browser’s user-agent string — and processes it for delivery, caching and abuse prevention. That is inherent to how the web works and is not something this site collects, retains or has access to. Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation covers what it does with it.
Links to other sites
No gear link is live yet. When one is, it works like this: the gear
recommendations are affiliate links to merchants, and they point at this site’s
own address first — /go/tuner rather than the shop — which then forwards you
to the merchant. Two consequences worth stating plainly.
The forward is counted, and the count is not about you. What gets recorded is which recommendation was followed and when. Not your address, not your browser, nothing that could be joined back to a person. It exists so a recommendation nobody clicks can be replaced with a better one.
The merchant sees an ordinary visit. Following the link takes you to a company with its own privacy practices, which this page does not cover and this site does not control. The affiliate disclosure explains what the arrangement is.
Your rights
Under Brazil’s LGPD and the EU’s GDPR you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection over personal data held about you. Unless you have written to me, this site holds no personal data about you at all, so there is in practice nothing to access or delete. If you have, what is held is the email you sent and the reply to it — and asking for it to be deleted is enough to have it deleted.

Children
This site is a music-theory reference. It has no accounts, collects nothing, and is safe for any age to use, but it is not directed at children specifically.
Changes to this page
If what the site collects ever changes, this page changes in the same release — not afterwards. The date at the top is when it was last revised.
